5.0 out of 5 stars Great stuff!
Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2018
Started using this sweetener about a month ago and I’m so glad I did! I didn’t realize the damage SUGAR was causing. Erythritol has prob been around for years but sadly I never considered a sugar substitute for anything in my kitchen. Once I started reading about KETO and the health benefits of NO sugar and Low carb, I learned about the MANY benefits of this sugar substitute. It tastes although it has a slight after taste but nothing you can’t get over or get used to. I’m happy I made the CHANGE. I’m also baking more than ever so my kids are loving it too!

This stuff is sweet but only slightly. I find it a little less sweet as sugar but it IS better for you. I use it on cereal but I then add a little Splenda on top of it. It seems to make me use much less Splenda which is a good thing. I guess you could call it synergistic with Splenda. It is a bit pricey as well but I would buy it again. If you like Splenda but are concerned about the health effects of Splenda mix a little Splenda with this stuff and try it. Eventually you will come up with the best ratio for your taste.

This product is as sweet as sugar. It's reasonably priced as well. However, it's slow to dissolve in liquids. Other than that, I'm satisfied with it.

Well it took a bit to get used to a different flavor. Uses a little bit more than regular sugar. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great alternative to processed sugar for making keto deserts
Reviewed in Canada 🇨🇦 on January 5, 2019
I have stopped using processed sugar for past 2 years due to the bad effects of sugar. But still loved baking and making deserts with healthy alternatives. I was using Xylitol initially, but switched to Erythritol recently. This product is great for low carb or keto deserts as it gives the sweetness just enough for your satisfaction. You don't need to worry about the harmful effects and enjoy the delicious deserts at the same time. It's very easy to powder it if you need to by using a small coffee grinder. I bought the granular one since I use it in my coffee as well. This doesn't have the after taste like stevia and monk fruit sweetener. I tried all of them and finally ended up sticking with this one. The product came in 2 days without any delay and the manufacturer contacted me to find out if everything was okay! They even sent me a pdf with some great low carb recipes. I will be trying all if it. Thank you for the great product. I really appreciate checking with me after the purchase as I know that I can trust them now.
3.0 out of 5 stars First experience with Erythritol
Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on August 9, 2018
This is my first time trying Erythritol, so I don't have any other brands to compare it to, taste-wise. Although it's sweet and looks like sugar, it gives a slightly strange 'cooling' aftertaste, a lot like a mild peppermint, which makes it quite a lot different to regular sugar. It doesn't flavour foods with the taste, per se, it's more of a mouth feel, a kind of tingliness. It also doesn't dissolve *at all* in recipes.. the chunky granules remain even when heated. I tried blending to a finer powder (which works fine), but it still makes cakes a bit grainy.
I don't think I'll buy it again for these reasons. On the description page it says "In a blind taste test you might mistake it for sugar." which I absolutely did not find to be the case. The difference is obvious!
I'm leaving 3 stars not because of the sugar itself (which, to be fair to the brand, is what it is), but because I found the description a bit misleading and also I discovered that other brands are offering double the quality (2lb) for around 10% cheaper, or 4x more for just a few quid extra. I should have shopped around first!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good with no funny aftertaste.

This is better than most sweeteners, no funny aftertaste for example. I like granular but it is nothing like sugar really. I will probably buy this again as it is better than others but I'm going to look for a cheaper way to buy it first.
4.0 out of 5 stars Cool sugar

An interesting product. Great for sugar replacement and works well in most scenarios where sugar is needed. Though on its own it does have a bit of an odd but not unpleasant cooling effect on your mouth.

Delicious it’s exactly like sugar (except for the price tag by hey ho you get what you pay for)
